Drop-off and Pick-Up Information

Do NOT let students exit the car unless they are in a safe, adult-supervised drop off zone.

WIS Car Rider Philosophy:
Welcome to the wonderful world of the WIS Car Rider Line.  Please come prepared with patience and understanding as WIS and WMS are simultaneously welcoming approximately 1700 students and staff onto each of our campuses every morning. It is actually quite impressive that our amazing community can deliver that many students into each of our buildings in a matter of 20-25 minutes.  

First and foremost, we value safety for all of our staff and students.  Please drive slowly and with awareness while obeying all traffic officers on our campus.  Students may ONLY exit cars in the designated drop off zones with adult supervision.  Students may NOT exit a car on Shamrock Blvd, in any parking lot, or in the neighborhood adjacent to the school.  

5th Grade Car Rider Detailed Directions:
Welcome 5th grade car riders!  Your student will be dropped off and picked up at Door 16 which is located right by the West Gym.  You will simply follow the WHITE SHAMROCKS on the route.  As you approach WIS, you will either be directed to turn left into the south parking lot or turn right into the tennis court parking lot.  These requests by the traffic officer are solely based on keeping the Rt. 32 round-about and entrance to Riverview Hospital clear and open.  If you turn into the south parking lot, you will follow the line around to Door 16 to safely drop off your student.  If you are directed to stack in the tennis court parking lot, the officer will stop traffic to send you across Shamrock Blvd and back to Door 16.

6th Grade Car Rider Detailed Directions:
Welcome back 6th grade car riders!  Your student will be dropped off and picked up at Door 2 outside the East Gym.  You will simply follow the GOLD Shamrocks on the route.  As you approach WIS, you will stay in the left hand lane so you can loop around the WMS parking lot and come back to make a right hand turn into our front circle drive.  You will then pull as far forward in circle drive as you can before letting your student exit the car on the sidewalk.
